After founding It’s Nice That in 2007, Will now oversees the creative output of It’s Nice That, Creative Lives in Progress and If You Could Jobs.
Alex joined as director in 2008 and oversees the commercial side of It’s Nice That, Creative Lives in Progress and If You Could Jobs.
Rob leads the project management team and oversees the management of our commercial and editorial partnerships. Previously Rob worked at experiential agency Slice and is also a founder of the record label and events company, Numbers.
Simon joined It’s Nice That in May 2015 as a social media manager moving into senior digital manager in 2018. As Head of Digital since 2023, Simon oversees all of our digital channels and media strategies. Contact him with any digital enquiries.

Olivia (she/her) joined the It’s Nice That team as an editorial assistant in November 2021 and soon became staff writer. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a degree in English Literature and History, she’s particularly interested in photography, publications and type design. Ellis Tree (she/her) joined It’s Nice That as a junior writer in April 2024 after graduating from Kingston School of Art with a degree in Graphic Design. Across her research, writing and visual work she has a particular interest in printmaking, self-publishing and expanded approaches to photography.
Elizabeth is our editor-at-large in the US, based between New York and Providence. She mainly focuses on opinion pieces about the creative industry and trends in design. Feel free to reach out to her if you have something that could be a good fit for her column.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a staff writer in July 2016 after graduating from Chelsea College of Art. In January 2019, was made deputy editor and in November 2021, she became a senior editor predominantly working on It’s Nice That's partnerships. Sophie joined It’s Nice That as senior project manager in 2021, having previously led an in-house film and animation team within the advertising industry. Sophie manages the day-to-day running of the project management team, and manages our commercial and editorial partnerships.
Liz (she/they) is It’s Nice That’s associate editor, predominantly working on partnership projects and contributing long-form articles. They previously ran the news section of the website. Contact them about potential partnerships or story leads.
Viv joined It’s Nice That as senior creative in April 2024. She leads the creative team across both editorial projects and brand partnerships. With a strategic and creative background, she spent nine years as a lead creative at Twitter and held the position of strategy director at the creative agency Dark Horses - TBWA. África joined It’s Nice That in December 2020 as a freelance designer and joined the team permanently in 2022 where they work across our editorial projects and commercial partnerships. Africa has previously worked in the branding and film industry and has a strong interest in typography, art direction, graphic and motion design. Say ‘hola’ to África:
Ruby joined It’s Nice That in 2017 after graduating from Central Saint Martins where she studied graphic design. She spent over four years working in the editorial team before moving to Rapha where she held the position of art director. Ruby is now a creative at It’s Nice That, working across predominantly commercial partnerships.
Brittany joined It’s Nice That in July 2021 as a digital campaign manager having previously worked in a similar role for several lifestyle brands at a communications agency. Brittany oversees the commercial partnerships across It’s Nice That, working with clients such as Apple and Dropbox.
Amy joined It’s Nice That as a freelance assistant in January 2019 after studying a BA in Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Art. In September 2019 Amy joined full-time as social media and community assistant and in early 2022 she became our social media manager. Olivia joined It's Nice That as a Social Content Creator in September 2022, previously holding a similar role at Screenshot Media. Rob joined in November 2022 as a partnership executive, having worked similar roles within the events and creative industries. Rob looks after sponsored content and display media across It’s Nice That, collaborating with brands to share their messages with the wider creative community. Jacob joined It’s Nice That in February 2024 as partnership executive after two years spent working at a PR agency. He has also worked at music agency The Rest Is Noise and written for Dazed Digital, and sometimes illustrates in his spare time. Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a project manager in August 2019 and works across editorial and commercial projects. Previously Lucy worked as a studio and project manager for a motion design studio and before that as a community and education officer for Picturehouse Cinemas.
Mélodie joined It’s Nice That as a project manager in May 2021, having previously worked for a tech company to produce its in-person and virtual creative events. Mélodie works across brand partnerships and advertising campaigns.
Jody joined It’s Nice That as Project Assistant in 2021 after studying Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art. Jody then worked at Lazy Oaf where she was the Brand Projects Manager. In April 2023, Jody rejoined the team and now works across It's Nice That platforms on projects such as Nicer Tuesdays, annual regular campaigns, editorial and social commissions and also advertising opportunities.
