Founded It’s Nice That in 2007.
Alex joined It’s Nice That as director in 2008.
Rob leads and oversees It’s Nice That’s full business strategy, operations and all of the departments. Having joined as a project manager in 2017, Rob has worked across our commercial and editorial output over his time at It’s Nice That. Previously, Rob worked in events and higher education and is also a founder of the record label, Numbers.
Becca looks after business development and commercial strategy for It’s Nice That, having previously worked with Guardian Labs and delivered brand partnerships at several media and entertainment agencies. She represents It’s Nice That out and about in the industry and works to find the right brand partners and projects that will connect with our community.
Sophie leads our commercial team, overseeing our Brand Partnerships and Insights work. She joined It’s Nice That in 2021 as a senior project manager, bringing a background in brand partnerships and creative production.
Simon joined It’s Nice That in May 2015. Across 10 years he has held roles across social media, digital strategy, media planning and audience development. As head of content since 2024, Simon oversees the editorial, digital and creative teams delivering across our platforms, projects and campaigns.

Sudi Jama is a Junior Writer at It’s Nice That, with a keen interest and research-driven approach to design and visual cultures in contextualising the realms of film, TV, and music.
Paul is a Junior Writer at It’s Nice That since May 2025 as well as a published poet and short fiction writer. He studied (BA) Fine Art and has a strong interest in digital kitsch, multimedia painting, collage, nostalgia, analogue and all matters of strange stuff.
Ellis Tree joined It’s Nice That as a junior writer in April 2024 after graduating from Kingston School of Art with a degree in Graphic Design. Across her research, writing and visual work she has a particular interest in printmaking, self-publishing and expanded approaches to photography. She works across It’s Nice That and Insights.
Elizabeth is our editor-at-large in the US, based between New York and Providence. She mainly focuses on opinion pieces about the creative industry and trends in design. Feel free to reach out to her if you have something that could be a good fit for her column.
Liz (she/they) is associate editor at Insights, a research-driven department within It’s Nice That. They previously ran the news section of the website. Get in contact with them for potential Insights collaborations or to discuss Insights’ fortnightly column, POV.
Rob, after joining in 2022 as a Partnership Executive, now looks after new and existing brand and agency contacts who wish to drive a deeper connection with It’s Nice That’s creative community and beyond, collaborating closely with the brand to deliver thoughtful, yet impactful storytelling campaigns. Jacob joined It’s Nice That in February 2024 as partnership executive after two years spent working at a PR agency. He has also worked at music agency The Rest Is Noise and written for Dazed Digital, and sometimes illustrates in his spare time. Ruby joined It’s Nice That in 2017 after graduating from Central Saint Martins where she studied graphic design. She spent over four years working in the editorial team before moving to Rapha where she held the position of art director. Ruby is now a creative at It’s Nice That, working across predominantly commercial partnerships.
Amy joined It’s Nice That as a freelance assistant in January 2019 after studying a BA in Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Art. In September 2019 Amy joined full-time as social media and community assistant and in early 2022 she became our social media manager. Brittany joined It’s Nice That in July 2021 as a digital campaign manager having previously worked in a similar role for several lifestyle brands at a communications agency. Brittany oversees the commercial partnerships across It’s Nice That, working with clients such as Apple and Dropbox.
Olivia joined It's Nice That as a Social Content Creator in September 2022, previously holding a similar role at Screenshot Media. She has a degree in illustration from Leeds Arts University and is also a keen ceramicist. Get in touch with Olivia with any queries regarding our TikTok and social video content.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a project manager in August 2019 and works across editorial and commercial projects. Previously Lucy worked as a studio and project manager for a motion design studio and before that as a community and education officer for Picturehouse Cinemas.
Jody first joined It’s Nice That as Project Assistant in 2021 after studying Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art, and then rejoined the team in April 2023. She works across It's Nice That’s platforms to deliver projects such as Nicer Tuesdays and brand partnerships.
Anna joined It’s Nice That in March 2025 as a Junior Project Manager, where she works in delivering sponsored content and helps with our monthly Nicer Tuesdays events.
Before stepping into this role, Anna built experience through self-led and DIY project management work across community initiatives. Her education lies in Cultural Studies, with a particular interest in visual culture, social media, and class dynamics – a perspective she brings thoughtfully into her role.
