Frankfurt's We Do graphic design studio can do, and very well indeed
Our trusty lead art director Jamie McIntyre made yet another fine discovery this week: Frankfurt’s We Do agency. Describing themselves as “visual explorers,” we feel they’re deserving of a better title that truly represents their superb and mature approach to graphic design, whether across posters, books or more wide-ranging, multidisciplinary projects.
Their trendy site boasts a wealth of brilliant projects, and one that particularly caught our eye was the branding for artists studio Ateleir Frankfurt. Taking a clean approach against a range of bright colours, the “A” and “F” glyphs expand or contract across the identity’s various applications, and provide a neat and adaptable solution for working with material that’s inherently highly visual.
“The new logo interferes with and overlays the image and information level. At the same time, it facilitates the gathering of diverse contents under one corporate identity,” says We Do. “The layout grid, changing typography and flexible logo application allow the customer to advertise various events and to stay aesthetically up-to-date without losing brand recognition.”
They say We Do, we say They Can, and boy can they do it well.
