Love, curiosity and a passion for graphic design powers Valencia-based Viuda Studio

Valencia is a thriving city that balances the hustle and bustle of its larger sister provinces with the quaint calm of smaller pastoral towns. That’s why Belén and Toni, the young couple behind Viuda Studio, decided to settle there. Like the city, the studio’s designs are flush with vibrant colours and an undeniable cheeky playfulness, that combines each of the pair’s best bits. “So, Viuda is something like an unexpected child – the result of our passion for graphic design, which we feed and we see grow," says Belén.

Finding their feet in music graphics, the duo quickly learnt that they work best when having fun. “We try to offer a visual solution that will be as enjoyable to see as it has been to do,” Toni tells It’s Nice That. And despite being just two, the studio finds itself immersed “in projects that acquire a comprehensive character”, continues Belén. This means that they’re always learning on the job, pushing themselves and developing a “repertoire of techniques that grows according to the project's needs”.
