Meet friendly Belgian illustration collective, Tieten Met Haar

Tieten met Haar is Valentine Gallardo, Alexander Robyn, Nina Van Denbempt, Mathilde Vangheluwe and Jana Vasiljević. The name roughly translates as “tits with hair” and their goal is “to create a platform for other upcoming artists, to present and publish their work as well as our own, and promote it, in Belgium as well as at different European comics and illustration festivals.”

The work the gang creates and showcases is that wonderful blend of humour, care and friendship, created with a lo-fi bedroom aesthetic that is fresh and appealing. If anything’s going to make you want to quit your job and start an illustration and small publishing venture with a few of your funniest friends, this is it. You can imagine them all cycling to each other’s houses with Tupperwares of baked goods to pore over the latest Megg and Mogg or new Adventure Time before retiring to a weekly sleepover.
