Pin-Up Magazine
Pin-Up Magazine (2006–Current) is a biannual English-language publication founded by architect and writer Felix Burrichter (DE). Its title designates a convergence of pornography and design, in which the tradition of the photographic Pin-Up is supplemented and then supplanted by the tradition of the academic Pin-Up, a design-school trope in which, in the name of discourse, students casually hang work to be viewed and discussed by peers and instructors. Geoff Han (US) used to design the magazine. Die Keure (BE) prints it. It’s all really lovely. The magazine’s tagline—"Magazine for Architectural Entertainment"—is kind of a perfect summation.
