Ordinary People’s bubbly identity for a Seoul film festival
In our interview with Seoul-based studio Ordinary People earlier this year, the collective spoke at length about exciting, dynamic design that experiments with the discipline. Its latest project for an independent film festival does just this with a vibrant and bubbly identity.
Created for the 41st Seoul Independent Film Festival, the studio has produced a series of posters, programmes, names badges and invites. The branding looks like a lairy (but well-crafted) advertisement for a naff fizzy drink but this gaudy loudness instantly grabs your attention. The figurative globules of colour darting around the page provide a playfulness and energy and it’s lovely seeing the type mould itself to the bubbles so seamlessly.
