Dublin's OFFSET festival reveals first speakers (and they're brilliant!)
Dublin’s OFFSET festival is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the creative conference calendar, and early indications suggest that 2015 is all set to be another cracker (or craic-er, if you will). For three days in March the Irish capital is taken over by a brilliant line-up of art and design speakers (and a fair bit of socialising) and we’re looking forward to going back this year for another hefty dose of inspiration and enlightenment.
The organisers recently unveiled the first tranche of speakers and the early names include a particularly strong selection of graphic design talent, including Pentagram partners Angus Hyland and Emily Oberman, Grand Budapest Hotel designer Annie Atkins, The Gentlewoman’s Veronica Ditting, the brilliant Barcelona-based Hey Studio, Matt Willey, who is now at The New York Times Magazine, Andy Altmann of Why Not Associates and Ian Anderson from The Designers Republic. Also confirmed are top illustrators like Chrissie McDonald, Tomi Ungerer and Andrew Rae, comics artist Declan Shalvey and photographer Matthew Thompson.
OFFSET 2015 runs from 6 to 8 March, and you can find out more at the website. We hope to see you there!
