Even though I can’t understand the titles of his projects, I’ve gathered enough to work out that Johann Besse is a pretty intriguing guy. From his beautiful Pans series (an alarmingly exciting collection of images of the sides of tower blocks) to his abstract photography; each project is as simple and compelling as the next. For me, though, the best is his collection of photographs of the tops of bollards.
