Joel Sternfeld helped ‘establish color photography as a respected artistic medium,’ so says his Wikipedia page, and it surprises us that the work of a man of his importance – who has consistently and very successfully gauged/documented public moods in the US (in often bizarre, unusual, curious ways) over the last 40 years – has yet to be properly featured here. Although his site lacks content, Google provides us with a wealth of imagery. Better late than never, we say.
