Taiwanese illustrator Inca Pan creates magnificent imaginary landscapes in sensitively coloured layers of gouache and ink. His influence seems to come almost entirely from the natural world, with lush vegetation featuring heavily throughout his portfolio and the odd flourish of eastern mythology thrown in for good measure. In spite of this fairly whimsical and delicate approach to illustration, Inca regularly produces editorial work for hard-hitting Taiwanese newspapers.
