FREDRIK! I met Fredrick at RCA though didn’t see his work until the final show in 2010. His Minimal Workstation has a purity of intent and design to it. Its components are visually somewhere between Meccano and Brio and that simplicity and honesty seem to translate in a coherent and charming way. His exhibition design for The Lost Years, is also very interesting – with the same thinking of functionality and simplicity applied to a very different context but equally as successful.
