Fashion: Photographer duo JUCO create the photo shoot of our wildest dreams

This fashion shoot by photographer duo JUCO is the stuff my very dreams are made of. The pair, also known as Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud, first met at the San Francisco Art Institute more than 10 years ago, and have since been working together to create commercial and editorial photographs that look like a cross between a rainbow, a florist’s window display and a Skittles advert. They’re responsible for some of the best images to grace our magazine stands, too.

Which brings me to this glorious personal project, in which they’ve painted set backdrop after backdrop to match the garments worn by models standing in front of it. The effect is something like when everything goes a bit odd on the weather report, except more joyful, more vibrant and more exciting. Any creative force with both the brainpower and the admirable inclination to execute such a concept, which most photographers would shy away from, are a winner with me.
