Cass Bird knows people, handy for a portrait photographer charged with coming up with celebrity cover shots for some of the world’s most respected magazines. But it’s not just A-listers she captures. In REWILDING – a good-looking book filled with pictures taken over the course of a couple of summers, recently released by Damiani – Bird’s subjects are friends, colleagues, girls picked straight off the street, all of whom are intimately and honestly photographed.
