Bob Cobbing

Sometimes people go so deep into their field that they end up in another field entirely. This seems to be the case with the highly prolific British poet Bob Cobbing, whose long career working in the absolute vanguard of visual poetry created some of my favorite looking artworks of all time by incident. Of course the multi-talented Cobbing made paintings and drawings throughout his career as well, but it is his work in the world of poetry that continues to excite and confound me in the best possible way.
