Alex Harvey: Framed

Renowned for their live performances during the mid seventies, the glam rock band The Sensational Alex Harvey Band were fronted by the mercurial Alex (1935–1982) – at the time the Greatest Living Scotsman (an honour, which he perhaps shared with Kenny Dalglish). This clip captures them at their peak – witness Alex’s godfather impression aided by stuffing two stockings into his cheeks. As punk as snot – two years before it happened.
