Harold J. Treherne was a farmer in Saskatchewan, Canada, and began drawing in 1957, when he was 58 years old. When asked why he started then, he said “Just caught up on me, I guess. I had thought about it on and off for years, you know, but the family was around me – didn’t give me enough thought to do anything.” He drew things that were in his house and around his town. He has a website dedicated to his work that is kept up by his son, though it has frustratingly small images on it.
