Long-distance design makes me feel uneasy. How can Architects design buildings to sit within communities we have never experienced? Before we ponder the bigger questions of knowledge vs. information. Scandinavian architects Fantastic Norway came up with a pretty good response – their answer, go on the road in a bright red caravan, invite locals inside, demystify proposals, collect opinions or just listen to a good story.
