Join Hato Press for a Risograph printing workshop this Saturday at A Load of Jargon
This Saturday (17 September) Hato Press will be running an all-day, drop-in Risograph workshop as part of It’s Nice That’s A Load of Jargon show. Taking place at The Conran Shop for London Design Festival, A Load of Jargon is an exhibition celebrating industry buzzwords. It features a series of five installations by creative duo Isabel + Helen that bring jargon to life, making fun physical embodiments of phrases like “big idea” and “easy win” for visitors to interact with.
Jargon Generator workshop
Saturday 17 September
10am – 6pm
Hato Press invites you to create your very own A Load of Jargon Risograph print. Select a jargon word from the five installation subjects – eg. Going Viral – then choose two shapes and design your composition, before scanning and printing your original Risograph editions. You’ll get to take three prints home. Spend as long as you like composing your artworks – it could be a five minute masterpiece or hours of careful crafting, up to you. This workshop is free, open all day on a drop-in basis.
