Sixth and final Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared episode ventures into dreamland
The sixth and final episode of Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared by Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling was released last night, and focuses on the subject of dreams, with the characters revealing their predictably hilarious and disturbing unconscious thoughts.
The episode kicks off with Yellow Guy in his Ernie and Bert-style stripy pyjamas, trying to go to sleep, but his bedside lamp has other ideas. Cue an off-kilter and highly unsettling song about dreams, or “movies that live in your head,” he explains, where you can dream about riding a horse or drowning in oil. Meanwhile Red Guy does open mike at his seriously boring social club: “What’s your favourite idea,” he sings/says, “mine is being creative.”
Keep an eye out for Roy, who has a little cameo in Red Guy’s subconscious, and the return of DHMIS faves Tony the Talking Clock, the singing Steak and Colin the Computery guy.
