Designer Molly Goddard’s first art installation opens at Now Gallery
West London fashion designer Molly Goddard has announced an exhibition in partnership with recently opened Now Gallery, Greenwich Peninsula. The installation, which runs from 4 November – 19 February, brings Molly’s signature tulle dresses into a new context for the first time. Hung from the gallery’s ceiling, the six oversized coloured dresses run to 20-30 feet long, with 400 metres of tulle making up each dress.
“I am so excited to be able to really celebrate craft technique in such an extreme visual way, making oversize, non-precious interactive pieces is key to what I love and what the brand aims to represent,” Molly says of the show. “I can’t wait to see the stories which will be told through embroidery and to witness what skills people have or manage to discover when visiting the exhibition.”
