This is Jane: a charming photo series that displays the empowerment of women

This is Jane is a photo series that displays the true charm that develops through thoughtful collaboration. The series created for Coeval displays the intermixed and enhanced talents of photographer Vincent Le Chapelain, stylist Sarah Kinder and of course, Jane the model.

Photographer Vincent explains that the stylist’s expertise (Sarah’s background is in fine art), “combined with the conceptual and artistic element to Coeval magazine fits perfectly with our vision of being very passionate about shooting real models, capturing their life and story.” The result is a series of photographs that blend luscious interiors with contemporary fashion labels including Marques ’ Almeida, Jacquemus and Issey Miyake. The choice in model Jane Carter, adds a heartwarming quality, creating a relatable fashion editorial shoot. “As a woman, Sarah found Jane incredibly inspiring when she met her,” Vincent explains. “We wanted to produce something strong and empowering for women, touching on the vulnerability of being alone.”
