Japanese artist Tatsuro Kiuchi is back with more beautifully finished illustrations
It’s been three years since we last featured the lovely work of Japanese illustrator Tatsuro Kiuchi, and his illustrations are just as strong now as they were back then. His work from this year alone is a delightful range of book covers, editorial illustrations and print adverts. Still evoking the same delicacy and whimsy as when we last featured his work, the prolific illustrator’s grainy textures and soft hues mesh wonderfully with the gentle Japanese script that accompanies them. His characters navigate domestic worlds like cafes, classrooms and apartment blocks, and the slight haziness cast over each image adds to their charm.
