Have we got Positive News for you! And it's illustrated by Noma Bar
Good news, for a change, in the form of Positive News, a publication designed by Studio Blackburn which reports on current affairs “through a lens of progress and possibility.” In a similar vein to Delayed Gratification, the monthly mag focusses on “slow news” and “constructive journalism”, and the latest issue features some lovely commissions from Noma Bar. A spread about domestic labour showcases the illustrator’s signature double-image cut-out style, with an upright iron that also reveals a disgruntled face. We love the cover, which uses a yolky egg backdrop to house a charming image of iconic anthropomorphised hoover, Henry.
