Back in 2008, Nike opened their East-London concept store 1948 and today sees its reopening after an extensive re-design. The facades and aesthetics may have been tweaked, the mantra has remained the same – fusing sport and culture in a way only Nike can. This allows for not only exclusive product but also a more creative space (we’re especially fond of the new mezzanine level) that will allow the sporting and creative communities a place to do what they do best. They’ve also put together an app, in the form of the 1948 magazine, released June 30th and we have the exclusive cover image of Rafa Nadal here, as well as shots of the space…
