Lawrence Beck's photos of Italian gardens are beautiful and beguiling

You would be forgiven if, when told to think of a garden, broken washing lines, pastel clothes pegs and deflated footballs spring into your mind. Not in Italy though, these gardens are so magnificent (and clutter free, unless you count the statues) that they are almost entire parks in themselves. Lawrence Beck, a New York-based photographer, seems to have a very healthy penchant for capturing the most magnificent parts of nature in categories of his choosing.
