Furever

First and foremost, Furever is a sterling pun. Thankfully, this documentary by director Amy Finkel, with its socio-exploratory vibe about the bewildering act of preserving pets, keeps the standard high. Interesting questions arise and are set to be answered not by a judgemental editor, but a curious and respectful outsider. Questions might include – is it a circumnavigationary act linked to grief, mortality and our fears of being alone? And, how exactly does one freeze-dry a chihuahua?
