DJ Shadow: Scale it Back

As mental feats go, remembering a pack of cards is pretty darn impressive and apparently the key is to create a story that links the cards in order. That’s the inspiration behind this marvellous new video for DJ Shadow’s collaboration with Little Dragon called Scale it Back, which sees one such mnemonic brought to life in a trippy world of puppets, props and people marshalled by directors Ewan Jones Morris and Casey Raymond into a surreal narrative. The song’s great too and if you’ve never seen a gargoyle brandishing a rolling pin (seems unlikely) then you’re in for a treat.
