DIS Magazine – an online “fashion, art, and commerce publication” – eschew contemporary trends, preferring instead to create their own. Their features – which right now include “helpful” tips on maximising bag width, and a short piece on artist Nicolas Fernández – are regularly internet-tainted and at times hilariously challenging. But have any been as outrageously gaudy – as uncompromisingly provocative – as this Spring-inspired shoot? Should we laugh, or be mad? Probably a bit of both, while also noting that few other magazines are driving fashion editorial forward in such a resolutely irreverent way.
