Graphic Design: Adrien Parlange reinterprets classic films with JPEGs

Date
4 June 2013

We’re a huge fan of JPEGs over at It’s Nice That, and we’re also a huge fan of classic cinema, so Adrien Parlange’s ingenious little project CINEMA.JPEG was always bound to find success in our gaff. Using the all-too-familiar format of JPEG files on a desktop background, Adrien recreates scenes from classic and much-loved films with only a few carefully chosen images, which is as pleasingly simple as it sounds. Reappropriating internet imagery in print is nothing massively new, but this is a really nice twist on the idea.
