Brody Associates announces launch with host of terrific new work
Few figures have impacted on the UK design scene quite like Neville Brody, and this week he announced the launch of Brody Associates, “a boutique studio network” that will specialise in digital, identity design and typography.
Announcing the move, Neville said: “Brody Associates reflects several years of evolution for our hubs of activity in London, Berlin, Tokyo and Seoul. 2014 has been a really productive year for both myself and the talented associates I work with on projects. I’m really proud that Brody Associates will allow us to streamline our network offering whilst enhancing our international profile and reflecting the global clients we are working with.”
Some of the new projects released on the studio’s new website indicate the breadth of work the new entity will undertake. There’s a new marque for LVMH and Christian Dior – crisp, simple and stylish – and there’s a capsule collection for New York label Supreme which features graphic creations inspired by the Brody archives.
It’s also interesting to see the titles for the upcoming Michael Mann film Blackhat which digitally remixes Neville’s FF Gothic typeface. Not a bad set of projects with which to announce your arrival!
