The founders of Bähler Moya interview fellow graphic designers in their new zine
Who better to interview graphic designers than designers themselves? Since Tiffany Bähler and Dennis Moya set up their Lausanne-based studio Bähler Moya, the two have been busy with a number of projects. From identities for jewellery designers to curating their online platform Ligature.ch, which counts 250 plus interviews with graphic designers, illustrators and photographers and is supported by a series of monthly talks about design, the studio is undoubtedly an ambitious one.
The pair has just launched a print version of Ligature.ch, a parallel project they are calling Ligature.paper, which is all edited, designed and published under Bähler Moya. With a small print run of 300 hand-numbered copies, this is another strong example of design studios producing in-house editorial content. The monochrome launch issue includes interviews with type designer Simon Mager, photographer and co-editor of Yet magazine, Nicolas Polli, the industrial designer Cecile Manz and fellow Swiss graphic design duo Notter + Vigne.
