More cut out-like editorial illustrations from Anna Kövecses
Anna Kövecses’ editorial illustrations continually buck tradition by focusing on organic cut out-like shapes of objects and figures rather trying to outline and contain them. With commissions from The Guardian, Creative Review and Neon magazine, Anna’s latest work is just as minimal and friendly as last time we featured her.
Mainly character-based, the Hungarian illustrator’s work plays with typography to make faces, as well as looser forms that are placed together in more abstract creations. Her use of colour is wonderful, with a mix of milky tones and warm shades giving Anna’s naive style elegance.
