Agustina Woodgate

Delightful stuff from Argentinian artist Agustina Woodgate in the shape of recycled teddy bear rugs. It goes far deeper than simply cutting open discarded childhood buddies, and aims not only to act as a reference to the “personal histories of the toy’s owners, but investigate the rug as an object organizing and displaying memories and lineages”. Regardless of what Agustina is trying to do, she’s doing it very well indeed. Just one project from a handful I could’ve swiped.
