Adam Curtis is a documentary film maker who’s recent films for the BBC include The Century of the Self and The Power of Nightmares. His blog is a collection of writings, photographs and films, with some fascinating material from the BBC archives which is used in his films to great effect. Documentaries created from collating and editing this footage looks to create new narratives from these seemingly random or unrelated events. One of the highlights, It Felt Like a Kiss, was produced in collaboration with the theatre company Punchdrunk, an amazing collage of material examining America’s rise to power.
