Bill Dan

Put simply, Bill Dan balances rocks. With a little more elaboration, Bill Dan is an astute craftsman who’s studio is in the San Francisco bay area and his chosen medium is the bays large quantities of erosion control material called ‘stone riprap’ that have been placed to prevent storm and tidal damage. Either way this is mega and if I lived on the West Coast, you woudn’t be able to stop me hiring the man himself for that special occasion. Found via the excellent Urban Outfitters blog.
