Leah Fusco

I came across Leah’s work at this years RCA show. There’s a real cinematic atmosphere to her paintings and I love the way she controls those washes. It was a breath of fresh air to see patient, traditional craft that manages to equally evoke both the masters of yore and a tone that is decidedly more contemporary. I was particularly taken with the brooding Owling series and expect big things from this young lady.
