1980s Argos Catalogues

I remember spending hours as a child flicking through the pages of an Argos catalogue, planning what I could buy with my pocket money. Before the days of internet shopping, they were probably found in every household in Britain. I recently discovered these amazing 1980s Argos catalogues online and I love how they look, both for the retro design and content, and for the slice of British social history in these collections. It’s nice to dip into the past, to remember what we desired, wore and shopped for, a lot of which I still love. I do enjoy that sense of nostalgia you get from looking back.
